Laura Udis is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Senior Program Manager, Small Dollar, Marketplace, and Installment Lending. Her work includes pawn, payday, auto title, installment, earned wage access, and buy now, pay later lending. Prior to joining the CFPB, Ms. Udis was a First Assistant Attorney General and Administrator of the Consumer Credit Code in Colorado and was responsible for the state’s non-depository consumer credit regulation program. She also served as Senior Financial Services Advocate at the Consumer Federation of America. Ms. Udis has a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.
